A brief overview of the activities of enterprises (January - October of 2022).

PRODUCTION OF AUTOMOTIVE PRODUCTS BY RUSSIAN ENTERPRISES
Russian manufacturers produced 512 453 vehicles (trucks, cars, buses) in January-October 2022, that 60,2% more than in January-October 2022.
TRUCKS
The volume of production of trucks, including trucks of category N1, in January-October 2022 decreased by 23,2%, 108 673 pcs. were produced (for compare, in January-October 2021 – 141 416 pcs.).
The production of domestic trucks in January-October 2022 decreased by 7,2%, 99 497 pcs. were produced (in January-October 2021 – 107 195 pcs.). The growth of truck production was ensured by the following enterprises: KAMAZ – 36 737 pcs. (+ 3,5%), UAZ – 18 692 pcs. (+ 1,4%), URAL – 6 146 pcs. (+ 11,2%). The decreasing of truck production was ensured by the following enterprises: GAZ produced 35 580 pcs. (-21,8%), SZA – 478 pcs. (- 55%).
The production of trucks of foreign brands in January-October 2022 decreased by 73,2%, 9 176 pcs. were produced (in January-October 2021 – 34 221 pcs.).
PSMA Rus is in shutdown. The following enterprises have decreased the production of trucks: AVTOTOR - 834 pcs. (- 26,5%).
The share of foreign brands in the total production of trucks in Russia in January-October 2022 amounted to 8,4% (in January-October 2021 – 24,2%). Enterprises producing trucks in January-October 2022 shipped 102 130 pcs. to consumers, that is 26,6% less than in January-October 2021.
CARS
The production of passenger cars in January-October 2022 in relation to January-October 2021 decreased by 65,6%, 384 405 pcs. were produced (in January-October 2021 – 1 116 140 pcs.). The forecast of production of passenger cars in 2022 is 461 300 pcs. (- 65,9%).
The production of passenger cars of domestic brands in January-October 2022 decreased by 50,6%, 157 669 units were produced (in January-October 2021 – 319 370 pcs.).
In January-October 2022, 151 768 LADA cars were produced (- 50,5%).
The UAZ enterprise in January-October 2022 produced 5 729 pcs., decreasing production by 54,2%.
The production of passenger cars of foreign brands in January-October 2022 decreased by 71,5%, 226 736 units were produced (in January-October 2021 – 796 770 pcs.).
Temporarily suspended production at the following enterprises: BMW at AVTOTOR, Volkswagen Group Rus, Kaluga, PSMA RUS.
Haval Motor Manufacturing Rus in January-October 2022 increased by 7,4%, 32 756 units were produced.
The share of foreign brands in the total production of passenger cars in Russia in January-October 2022 amounted to 59% (in January-October 2021 – 71,4%). In January-October 2022, passenger car manufacturing enterprises shipped 380 263 units to consumers, that is 66% less than in January-October 2021.
BUSES
The volume of production of buses in January-October 2022 decreased by 31,7%, 19 832 pcs. were produced (in January-October 2021 – 29 036 pcs.).
Of the total number of buses produced, the production of domestic brands amounted to 17 881 pcs. (- 24,3%), and the production of buses of foreign brands – 1 951 pcs. (-63,9%). The forecast of production of buses in 2022 is 23 800 pcs. (- 35,1%).
In January-October 2022, a decrease in bus production was recorded at the following enterprises: GAZ produced 6 653 pcs. (- 35,8%), PAZ – 5 451 pcs. (-14,2%), LIAZ - 982 pcs. (-44,2%), KAVZ - 417 pcs. (-16,6%), URAL - 234 pcs. (-42,4%), KAMAZ - 46 pcs. (-83%).
The share of foreign brands in the total production of buses in Russia in January-October 2022 amounted to 9,8% (in January-October 2021 – 18,6%).
Bus manufacturing enterprises in January-October 2022 shipped 15 082 pcs. to consumers, that is 44,3% less than in January-October 2021.
LIGHT COMMERCIAL VEHICLES (LCV)
The volume of production of light commercial vehicles in January-October 2022 decreased by 33,1%, 67 845 pcs. were produced (in January-October 2021 – 101 489 pcs.). The forecast of production of LCV in 2022 is 81 400 pcs. (- 37,8%).
In January-October 2022, the largest production volume was recorded at the following enterprises: GAZ enterprise produced 36 683 pcs. (-21,5%), UAZ – 18 692 pcs. (+ 1,4%), Saransk dump truck plant - 26 pcs. (-68,3%).
INFORMATION ABOUT THE NUMBER OF STAFF AND WAGES OF EMPLOYEES
The total number of employees in the automotive industry in September 2022 increased compared to September 2021 by 0,5%, and the average salary increased by 8,3% and amounted to 56 963 rubles.
TRACTOR AND AGRICULTURAL ENGINEERING IN RUSSIA
MANUFACTURE OF TRACTOR EQUIPMENT
6 233 tractors were produced in Russia in January-October 2022, that is 3,9% less compared to the corresponding period of 2021, including 4 937 agricultural tractors (-5,1%) and industrial tractors – 1 296 pcs. (+ 1,3%).
In the total number of agricultural tractors produced in January-October 2022, the share of domestic brands was 72,5%, foreign cars assembled in Russia – 27,5%, of which: assembly from MTZ tractor sets – 3,5%, from sets of foreign brands (Versatile, New Holland, Magnum, Agrolux, Axion, John Deere) - 24%.
A decrease in the production of tractors against the corresponding period of last year was noted at the following enterprises: Rostselmash - 881 pcs. (-27,1%). Increasing at Promtractor - 517 pcs. (+ 41,3%), Volzhsky combine plant - 202 pcs. (+ 18,1%).
Tractor shipments decreased by 8,4% against the corresponding period last year. Shipped 6 042 pcs. of equipment.
PRODUCTION AND SHIPPING OF BASIC TYPES OF AGRICULTURAL MACHINERY
In January-October 2022 the production of combine harvesters decreased by 35,6% against the corresponding period of 2021, 4 073 pcs. were produced, of which 1 026 pcs. - combines of foreign brands. Combine plant "Rostselmash" produced 3 031 pcs. (-37,8%), Volzhsky combine plant - 12 pcs. (-63,6%).
The production of forage harvesters in January-October 2022 against the corresponding period of 2021 decreased by 20%, 481 pcs. were produced, of which 120 pcs. - combines of foreign brands. Combine plant "Rostselmash" produced 129 pcs. (-59,9%), Klever - 185 pcs. (+12,8%).
Combine harvester shipments decreased by 32,2% against the corresponding period last year. Shipped 4 332 pcs. Shipments of forage harvesters decreased by 21,8% against the corresponding period last year; 485 pcs. of equipment were shipped.
The production of tillage equipment in January-October 2022 in Russia was: 35 964 plows were produced (-19,1%); 20 842 harrows (-24,9%); 15 294 tractor cultivators (-36,6%); 77 257 motoblocks and motor-cultivators (-20,7%).
In January-October 2022, the production of seeders amounted to 11 638 pcs. (-6,7%); machines for applying mineral, chemical and organic fertilizers – 1 654 pcs. (+ 18,7%); mechanical devices for scattering or spraying liquids or powders – 5 091 pcs. (+ 9,9%); loaders for universal agricultural purposes – 7 401 pcs. (-57,8%); presses for straw or hay – 3 521 pcs. (+ 0,2%); machines for harvesting grain, oilseeds, legumes and cereals – 4 976 pcs. (+ 6,5%); reapers – 2 498 pcs. (-1,1%); mowers – 11 933 pcs. (+ 3,3%); crushers for feed -101 052 pcs. (+ 7,9%); milking installations – 6 430 pcs. (-22,6%); machines for cleaning, sorting and grading seeds, grains or dry legumes – 43 454 pcs. (-10,7%).
INFORMATION ABOUT THE NUMBER OF STAFF AND SALARY
The total number of personnel at agricultural engineering enterprises in September 2022 increased by 1,8% compared to September 2021, and the average salary increased by 11,9% and amounted to 58 127 rubles.
PRODUCTION OF COMPONENTS FOR AUTOMOTIVE, TRACTOR AND AGRICULTURAL EQUIPMENT
PRODUCTION OF AUTOMOTIVE ENGINES
In January-October 2022 the following enterprises increased/decreased the production of automobile engines compared to January-October 2021: Zavolzhsky branch of UAZ – 29 731 pcs. (-34,1%), Autodiesel – 34 271 pcs. (-5,8%), Ulyanovsk Motor Plant – 25 878 pcs. (-28,5%), KAMAZ – 26 148 pcs. (+ 15,4%), Tutaev Motor Plant – 2 675 units. (+ 19,1%). MANUFACTURE OF OTHER COMPONENTS
At the Radiator plant, Orenburg in January-October 2022 the production of radiators decreased by 14,9% compared to the data for the corresponding period last year (82,3 thousand pcs. were produced).
At the Noginsk plant of fuel equipment the output of fuel pumps for tractors increased by +41% (24 265 pcs. were produced), decreased production of booster pumps – 5,9% (37 379 pcs. were produced), plunger pairs by -26,8% (36 263 pcs. were produced), reduced the output of valve pairs by -46,1% (produced 18 450 pcs.).
In January-October 2022 Robert Bosch Saratov decreased the production of spark plugs by 39,6% compared to the corresponding period last year (46 764,4 thousand pcs. were produced).
At the Aksaikardandetal plant the output of cardan shafts was decreased by 18,1% (24 779 pcs. were produced), universal joints for combines - by 13,7% (23 105 pcs. were produced).
Cheboksary Agregate Plant in January-October 2022 increased the output of caterpillars and chains for industrial tractors by 4,3% (2 182 pcs. were produced); rollers for domestic tractors - by 17,8% (24 890 pcs.); rollers for imported tractors - by 57% (1 460 pcs.); reduced the output of tractor clutch discs by 25% (3 791 pcs.); caterpillars and chains to the T 170 tractor - by 29,5% (1 309 pcs.); clutch couplings to tractors - by 1,1% (2 404 pcs.) compared with data for the corresponding period last year.
INFORMATION ABOUT THE NUMBER OF STAFF AND SALARY
For enterprises producing components for automotive, tractor and agricultural machinery, the number of employees in September 2022 compared to September 2021 increased by 0,9%, and the average salary increased by 12,8% and amounted to 49 659 rubles.
